Billy F. Newby, age 96, of Wildwood, GA died on Friday March 28, 2025. Mr. Newby worked for 3M Corporation in Chattanooga, TN for 30 years and until its closing. He also worked for Jenkins Chrysler – Dodge dealership for several years. Mr. Newby loved working on his farm raising his Charolais cattle. He also enjoyed traveling all over the United States with his friends and family. Mr. Newby was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ. He was well loved by many, including his family, friends, and church.
Mr. Newby was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Parker Newby, daughter Marian Newby, parents Andy Brown Newby Sr. and Carrie Blynn Wall Newby, brother, Andy Newby, and sister, Nancy Bernhardt.
Mr. Newby is survived by daughters, Bessie Carolyn Newby Ashe of Trenton, GA and Martha “Jacque” (Tommy) Pigage of Hopkinsville, Ky and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Newby will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025, at 12:00 in the chapel with Minister Ron Gilbert and Tommy Pigage officiating. Interment will follow in Browns Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4 PM until 7 PM and Tuesday 11 AM until service time at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton, GA.
