Donna Gale Hurst Lewis age 78 of Flat Rock, AL died Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Highland’s Health & Rehab. Funeral services are Friday, October 10, 2025 at 4 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro David Marona and Bro. Frankie Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2 PM until hour of the service.
Donna was born October 10, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN to parents, Leonard Avery and Opal Lancaster Hurst. She was a 1964 graduate of Davis High School and had worked at Shaw Industries.
Survivors include son, Scott Lewis(Cheryl), daughter, Kristie Smith(Warren), grandchildren, Brandon Lewis(Anna), Christopher Lewis(Katelynn), Clayton Smith(Gracie), Kaylee Hatchett(Zach), great-grandchildren, Sawyer Lewis, Weston Smith, Baylor Lewis, Denver Lewis, James Smith, Trenton Hatchett, Andruw Hatchett, sister, Margaret McCord, along with extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard “Buddy” Lewis, grandson, Jacob Lewis, sister, Diane Williams and brother, Gary Hurst.
