Janila Deloris Turner Tinker age 85 of Higdon, Alabama died Friday, August 22, 2025 at Crowne Health Care. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11 AM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Tinker officiating. Family will receive freinds from 10 am until service time.
Janila was born January 25, 1940 in Rome, Georgia to parents, Herbert Jewell and Opal Inez Kesler Turner. She was a housewife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family. She was of the Church of God faith and loved southern gospel music.
Survivors include daughter, Amanda Jones(Casey), grandchildren, Lachlan Jones, Hadassah Jones, Nathan Tinker, Joel Tinker, Jodie Lusk. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. G. Tinker, son, Michael Tinker and sister, Barbara Fischer.
