Lessie Prince Ford, age 74, of Trenton, GA passed away Friday August 1, 2025 surrounded by her family. She loved crafting, but more importantly she enjoyed her family. She was a woman of God always reading her bible.
She was preceded in death by her son Frank Virgil Ford, III; parents Roy and Bonnie Hurst Prince; Siblings K.D. Prince, Leo Smith, Delores Coleman, Helen Russell, Charlsie Breedlove, J.B. Prince, Chester Prince, and Jack Prince.
Surviving include her husband Mitchell Ford, children Terri (Joey) Rutherford of Trenton, GA, Cindy (Gary) Keck of Soddy Daisy, TN, and Maxine (Perry) Schwark of Trenton, GA, and Tanisha Ford; Grandchildren Hailey (Bryan) Sutton, Ean Rutherford, Heather Hanson, Brittany Turner, Collin Keef, Melissa Baisden, Crystal Reeves, Clark Shepherd, and Lucas Shepherd, seventeen great-grandchildren including Brynnlea Sutton, Braylen Sutton, and Tripp Sutton; one sister Brenda Slay; also several nieces and nephews and host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Carl Towns officiating. Interment will follow in Shantytown Cemetery in the New Home Community.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. & Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA
