Janice Elaine Townsel Bass age 69 of Henagar, Alabama died Friday, July 4, 2025 at CHI Memorial. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 5 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time.
Survivors include son, Kenny Bass, daughter, Mandy Abbott(David), grandchildren, Hayden Abbott(Gabi), Hadlee Abbott, Justin Bass(Alena), Levis Bass(Kayla), great-grandchildren, Brinley Abbott, Saylor Bass, Parker Bass, sister, Bonnie Bryant(Larry), brother, Donnie Townsel(Meredith), chosen daughter, Kenetha Burns, special friend, Regan Knight, along with a nieces and nephews.
Janice was born January 18, 1956 at Peeks Clinic to parents, Barnie Ray and Fannie Maxine Headrick Townsel. She was a 1974 graduate of Sylvania High School and had work at Buster Brown and Riverview Camp for Girls. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Bass.
