Norma Jean Green, age 40, of Trenton, GA, passed away on July 10, 2025. Born on December 9, 1984, in Tennessee, she spent her childhood between the Chattanooga area and Indiana.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Lori Renee Plummer and Robert J. Green, as well as her brother, Jason Plummer, and maternal grandmother, Helen (Rene) Dagnan.
She is survived by her devoted spouse, Tyler Carruth; her four beloved children, Brandon Pritchett, Conner Carruth, Hayden Carruth, and Hailey Carruth; and her cherished sisters, Brittany Ivey and Tonya Dunagan-Cross (Jonah). Norma also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will continue to carry her memory with them.
Norma lived a life rooted in love, resilience, and joy. She was known for her hardworking spirit and her ability to find beauty in simple pleasures. Whether tending to her garden, listening to her favorite song, Soul Shine by The Allman Brothers, or enjoying time with her family, she simply enjoyed living life.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, and her unwavering love for those she held dear.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Garrett Reagan officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
