Winston F Overdear age 83, broke these earthly bonds on Friday, September 12 ,2025 at 1:32 P. M. He was born January 12, 1942 in Henagar, Alabama to parents, John Oliver Amos and Essie Asenath Brown Overdear. He had spent most of his life driving a truck.
There will be no service nor visitation per his wishes. Cremation service provided by Corner Stone Crematory.
He is survived by sons Franklin Overdear of Crestview, Florida & Jeffrey Overdear (Tara) of Rayne Louisiana, Grandson Aaron Drew Overdear Granddaughter Samantha Marie Overdear; Brother: Austin Lee “Bud” Overdear (Ginny).
He was preceded in death by his parents along with twelve other brothers & sisters.
He was not a member of a church but he faithfully listened to a bible study each day for years. He lived those beliefs.
I think he is double clutching through the clouds in a golden rig with engine roaring and Jake brake screaming. Saint Peter yelling OMG here comes another Overdear kid! RIP One last squawk on that CB, “it’s the “Kingfish” over and out”!
