Ismael Martinez Jr. age 71 of Stevenson, AL died Sunday, November 30, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services are Wednesday at 4 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ben Young officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time.
Ismael was born October 27, 1954 to parents, Ismael and Marta Gelpi Martinez in New York. He completed high school and had worked in several different jobs from housekeeping at a hospital to the Postal Service and attended Ider Church of God.
Survivors include wife, Christina Holder, children, Kenny Martinez(Libni), Ismael Martinez III, James Martinez, Brandon Martinez, Madison Johnson, grandchildren, Kenneth Martinez Jr., Nachaly Martinez, Isania Martinez, Angie Martinez, Samantha Martinez, Carter Martinez, Auria Martinez, sisters, Martha Gelpi, Arlene Torres, brother, Jaime Gelpi and nephew, Jordan Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mikey Martinez.
