Linda Gibson Dillard age 68 of Ider, Alabama died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Dekalb Regional Medical Center. No services are planned at this time.
Linda was born July 31, 1957 in Wisconsin to parents, John M. and Miriam Betty Seawright Gibson. She grew up in Illinois where she finished high school. She began work at Dekalb Hospital in January 1980 in the supply department where she later became an assistant purchasing agent. She continued her career as a purchasing agent with Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN. until her retirement in 2024.
Survivors include daughter, Aline Perry, son, Thomas Dillard, grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Mackena Phillips(Riley), Aleigha Kinley, Chevelle Perry, great-grandchildren, Delanie Pilgrim, Laiklan Pilgrim, sisters, Gretchen Gibson, Kathy Quarcini, along with a host of friends and work family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Doug Dillard, son, Brian Dillard, sister, Greer Bette and brother, Tom Gibson.
