Martha Lou Pitts, 92, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Pitts was born in 1933 in Day, Florida to the late Milton & Mertie Williams Parker, attended Day Junior High School, and received her B.A. degree from David Lipscomb University. Along with her late husband, Tom Pitts, they owned and operated Crossroads Ace Hardware in Trenton, and Ace Hardware in Lookout Valley for a number of years. She was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ and attended Trenton Church of Christ for several years. Mrs. Pitts was loved by all and was known for her gift-giving to others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Newby, and brother, Taft Parker.
Survivors include her sister, Jackie Hill & Peggy Tompkins; brother, Bud Parker; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Charles Cochran officiating. Mrs. Pitts will be laid to rest in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
