Rita Lynn Burgess, 57, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at her residence.
Rita was born on August 10, 1967 in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA to the late Harold & Jackie Prince and attended Chattanooga Christian School. She was of the Baptist faith and was most recently employed with Food Outlet in Trenton. Rita was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Burgess.
Survivors include her son, Benjamin Burgess of Trenton; sister, Vickie Garner; brothers, Chris & Jason Prince.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25th at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Howell officiating. Rita will be laid to rest in Brown’s Gap Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
