Barry Wayne Irwin, Sr., “Chief” & “Papa” 79, of Trenton, GA, was enveloped into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Irwin was born in Warren, PA on October 6, 1946 to Lloyd Irwin & Mae York Irwin and was a 1964 graduate of Eisenhower High School, where he played football and began to love a variety of music. He became a husband and was blessed with two beautiful girls, served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 and then was the proud father of a son. Barry held various jobs including working a printing press, making glass windows, farming, construction and even built several homes in Lakewood Park, FL. Following his ownership of a trucking company, Barry had a successful career with the Ft. Pierce Fire Department, retiring in 1998. He then started the All County Ambulance Service with his wife, Patty, son, Barry, & daughter-in-law, Maria. He retired once again in 2005 and moved to Trenton, GA with his family and became a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Diane Morgan Irwin; daughters, Kelli Irwin, Kimberly (Tony) Pacifico, & Connie (Ron) Vinson; son, Barry (Maria) Irwin; grandchildren, Alex Kinkela, Aaron Kinkela, Marc Irwin, Cole (Trinity) Irwin, Miranda (Jonah) Brown, & Parker Pacifico; great-grandchildren, Aadalyn & Liam; sisters, Florence “Cookie” Miller, Doris Samuelson, & Bette Irwin; brother, Ron (Kathy) Irwin.
