Bobby Ray Bright age 91 of Henagar, Alabama died Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Cumberland Health and Rehab. Funeral services are Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery at Henagar. Family will receive friends from 1 to 8 PM on Thursday and 11 am until service time on Friday.
Bobby was born January 20, 1934 in Bryant, Alabama to parents, William Floyd and Ora Paralee Powell Bright. He had worked at Earnest Holmes Wrecker Company before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and singing gospel music.
Survivors include daughter, Shena Cross, grandchildren, Daisy Giles(Robby), Elizabeth Stephens(Mike), great-grandchildren, Alex Cross(Makenna), Kayla Wright(Dakotah), Alley Giles(John Sims), Halle Giles, great great-grandchildren, Michael Holley, Xander Wright, Wade Buchanan, Maxwell Long, Ronin Wright, Myles Wright, brother, Winston Floyd Bright(Martha).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruby Nell Bright, and brothers, Marvin Bright and Leonard Bright.
