Brenda Wanzata “Zata” Gentry age 55 of Sylvania died Wednesday, March 2, 2026 at her residence. Graveside services will be announced at a later date.
Zata was born October 7, 1970 in Georgia to parents, Luther Wade Gentry Jr. and Kathleen Elizabeth Dixson. She had worked in the Hosiery Industry for several years. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her sisters, Wanda Wilson, Cathy Higgins, Patricia Rowe, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sammy Gentry, nephews, Nacoma Higgins, Stevie Lee Higgins, and Steven Rowe.
