Carolyn Waldrop Smith “Mawmaw” age 84 of Pisgah entered Heaven’s shores on Monday, July 28, 2025. Funeral services are Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 5 PM CT at New Home Baptist Church with Bro. Fred Waldrop and Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday and from 2 PM until service time on Thursday.
Survivors include husband, Robert Smith, children, Landon Lewis(Sharon), Felicia Heard(Ronald), Warren Smith(Kristie), Lisa Medlin, grandchildren, Kyle Lewis(Shaley), Dustin Lewis(Dayo), Trevor Lewis(Amber), Tyler Sharp(Megan), Chelsea Boyd, Dustin Heard(Alyssa), Savannah Bowman(Jesse), Clayton Smith(Grace), Kaylee Hatchett(Zachary), Tristin Medlin, 11 great-grandchildren, siblings, Fred Waldrop(Connie), Ted Waldrop(Delana), Eva Nell Peek, Wanda Sue Daniels, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pluma Haynes Waldrop, grandson, Dane Boyd.
