A serious vehicle accident near the 5800 block of Ringgold in East Ridge, caused sinificant damage to a large propane tank. Emergency personnel have indicated that they can not emphasize how serious this matter is, as they continually keep the propane tank saturated with water from a nearby hydrant while other crews continue to secure the scene. The emergency personnel have asked that citizens please choose alternate driving routes as they continue to secure the location, and avoid this area altogether.
