Christopher Eric Kirkpatrick, age 47, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a resident of Bryant, Alabama.
Eric was a beloved husband and father whose greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Stephanie Kirkpatrick, and the perfect father to his three daughters, Kali, Brenley, and Kinsley Kirkpatrick. Eric was daddy, coach, encourager, and best friend to them.
He was well-known in the South Pittsburg community, having previously owned and operated Kirkpatrick Food Land with his father and brother. Christopher Eric Kirkpatrick, age 47, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a resident of Bryant, Alabama.
Eric was a beloved husband and father whose greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Stephanie Kirkpatrick, and a loving father to his three daughters, Kali, Brenley, and Kinsley Kirkpatrick. Eric was deeply involved in their lives and never missed a milestone or special moment.
He was well-known in the South Pittsburg community, having previously owned and operated Kirkpatrick Food Land with his father and brother. Eric was also a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and was actively involved in church life.
Eric had a passion for golf and loved spending time on the course with friends. His love for the game was only matched by his love for others. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, and he formed lasting friendships throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; daughters, Kali, Brenley, and Kinsley; parents, Eddie and Pam Kirkpatrick; sister, Amy (Jeff) Saylors; brother, Jason (Angels) Kirkpatrick; in-laws, John and Barbara Smothers; brother-in-law, Matthew (Taylor) Smothers; aunt, Deb Leonard; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewitt and Sue Leonard, and James and Glennice Kirkpatrick.
A funeral service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held on Thursday, April 10th at 2:00 PM CT (3:00 PM ET) at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Steve Townson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Bryant, Alabama.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM CT (4:00 – 8:00 PM ET) and Thursday from 12:00 PM CT until the service hour.
Eric will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the love he shared so freely. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
