Katherine Lillian Kelley, our beautiful Mother, passed away April 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Born December 9, 1942 to the late James Wesley Kelley and Hazel Howard.
A mother, to me, whose love was unconditional and never failing. A talented artist, and wonderful cook, who took the time to make birthdays and holidays special. She was a beautiful and gifted woman who had an affinity for cats, clothes, shoes, jewelry, and purses. Always young at heart, our Mother. She was one of the greatest loves of my life, and her presence will be forever missed.In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son Jeff Long, grandson Caleb Michaels, and brother Wayne Kelley.
Survivors include her children, Sherri McDaniel, Beth (Darrell) Michaels, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm EDT in the chapel. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11:00 am until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton GA. Brother Edwin Spurgeon, and Brother Chris Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Park, Bryant, AL.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Mother’s nurses, CNA’s, and the staff of Siskin West for their love, support, and compassionate care of our Mother.
