Laquada J. Ford, age 86, of Trenton, Georgia passed away peacefully and reunited with her husband Charles “Jack” Ford on their sixty-ninth anniversary, September 21, 2025.
Laquada had compassion for others, loved her Lord and her family, a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, housewife and cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents Lloyd and Leona Odell, children Randall Ford, Teresa Hoover, two sisters and two brothers, and grandson Jesse Lee Hoover.
Survivors include her children Deborah Liles, Joyce Hurst, Marsha Marshall (Alvin) all of Trenton, Georgia and Marlene Ford of Rossville, Georgia. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Anthony Disheroon officiating. Interment will follow at Jack Ford Cemetery, Trenton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Funeral Home.
