Loberta Powell Tucker age 86 of Chattanooga, TN. died on Monday, July 21, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services are Friday, July 25, 2025 at 3 PM ET at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Marty Webster officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time.
Loberta was born in Hinkle, GA., on January 1, 1939 as a twin to parents, Herbert and Viola Clark Powell. She had attended Hillcrest Baptist Church for many years and had worked at Standard-Coosa-Thatcher for over 30 years. She was know for her witty and loving personality.
Survivors include her children, Douglas Tucker(Diana), Darrell Tucker, Denise Head(John), grandchildren, Ernie Tucker, Stevie Adkins(Crystal), Doug Tucker, Scott Adkins, Michael Tucker, Jessica Beavers(Geoff), Mark Delaney, Mitchell Delaney(Jessica), Nick Delaney(Amber), along with several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Tucker, daughter, Glenda K. Adkins, son, Stephen Tucker, siblings, Leroy Powell, Bernice Tucker, Lloyd Powell and Johnny Powell.
