Lyvonne Schrader, age 88, of Flat Rock, Alabama went home to be with the Lord with his children surrounding him on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
He was born in Rosalie, Alabama to the late Martha & Yules Shrader. Before returning to Alabama, he had lived for several years in Plant City, Florida.
He retired from Heil Corporation as a welder following many years of service. He was a faithful member of Clearview Baptist Church.
Lyvonne was an avid Alabama Football Fan. His family knew they could never go wrong with gifting to him something “Roll Tide” related. He also loved professional wrestling.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Retta Mae (Ira) Davis; Lloyd (Betty) Shrader, Edwin Shrader, Breland (Freda) Shrader, Truman (Dee) Shrader, and Henry “Eldridge” (Connie) Shrader; grandson-in-law, Marshall Walker; and great-granddaughter, Orianna Schrader Lee.
Survivors include his children, Michael & Heidi Schrader of Flat Rock, Alabama; Barbara & Jerry White of Talladega, Alabama; Tricia & Terry York of Flat Rock, Alabama; Robert & Rhonda Schrader of Ringgold, Georgia; grandchildren, Amanda Walker, Crystal & Shawn Phillips, Miranda & Dusty Cloud, Cassie Schrader, Dustin Crisp, Alisha &Tim Early, Christopher Schrader, Candi Schrader, Amber Sargent, Reagan & Cameron Greenwood, Colt & Loran Schrader, Chloe Schrader, Tammy & Mark Compton and family, and Deno & Melinda White and family; great-grandchildren, Dallon & Kinsley Phillips, Sawyer & Sophie Cloud, Lily, Landon & Lorelei Early, Pruitt “PJ” & Paxton Greenwood, and Julianna & Carter Schrader, Sophia Sargent, and Elaina Crisp; sister-in-law, Mary Shrader of Bryant, Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 4 to 8 PM CT and Friday from 11 am until service time at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shawn Phillips and Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating.
Burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Colt Schrader, Dallon Phillips, Dusty Cloud, Tim Early, Cameron Greenwood, & Coey Shrader. Honorary pallbearers will be PawPaw’s great-grandsons, Landon Early, Sawyer Cloud, Pruitt Greenwood, Carter Schrader & Paxton Greenwood
