Mildred Ruth Hollingsworth, 98, of Trenton, GA, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
She was born on August 14, 1927 to the late Thomas & Mary Hartline Shelton and attended Community Full Gospel Church in Flat Rock, AL. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hollingsworth, children, Raymond Alfred Hollingsworth, Melvin Neal Hollingsworth, Connie Smartt, Wilma Tinker, & Tommy Hollingsworth, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie (Larry) Millican of Pisgah, AL, & Peggie Harris of Trenton, GA; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, & one great-great-great grandchild; siblings, T.J. Shelton, Leonard Shelton, Darlene Chastain, Edna Walker, & Ernestine Bolton; several nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 12:00 p.m. EST in the funeral home chapel with Floyd Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow in Gibdock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 30th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
