Mothers or Mother Figures are pivotal for a child or children’s growth, offering vital direction, education, and emotional support.
They are as a rule, the initial teachers, examples, and friends, instilling values and morals, as well as social skills. A mother’s impact reaches to a child’s cognitive, emotional, and social well-being, impacting their sense of self and future relationships. Of course you don’t have to take our word for it; however, you can take the word of the following tribute writers who have taken the time to share about the important Mothers and Mother Figures in their lives (past and present) for Mother’s Day!

Tribute From: Holly Fowler Parris
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and deepest love for my beautiful mother, Patsy Fowler. For 45 years, she has been a constant source of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. Her walk with the Lord shines so brightly, and her life has been a living testimony of God’s love and goodness.
The Lord, in His perfect wisdom, knew exactly the kind of mother I would need, and He gave me the very best. Words will never be enough to express just how treasured she is to me. Her love, prayers, and gentle spirit have carried me through so many seasons of life.
She and my dad have poured so much into my life and into the lives of my children, and we are abundantly blessed by their faithfulness, love, and support. I thank God every day for the precious gift of my mother—she is truly one of His sweetest blessings.
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28
With all my love,
Your daughter, Holly Fowler Parris

Tributes From: Elvira Vaughn
I have two women I would like to nominate.
The first one is my beautiful mother, Cissey Vaughn She is 47 years old. She is the most caring, sweetest , an loving soul to ever walk this earth. I do not know what I would do without her. She has 4 of us kids, 5 grand kids. And the grand kids are her life. She’s my best friend, my rock, and my shoulder to cry on. I know if anything was to happen she is always in my corner.
The second one is my beautiful Grandmother Brenda Boatfield, She is 74 we lost her a year ago sadly. But to know my grandmother was to love my granny. She has a lot of us grandchildren I am not ever gonna try to guess so I don’t leave out kids or great grandchildren. But she was a spitfire she would let you know if she didn’t like what you was doing but she was also one of the sweetest old ladies ever. She was the glue to our family.

My mother-in-law, who everyone knew as Cathy, was sweet, kind, funny, & caring. She loved her son, my soon to be husband, & her daughter, my best friend, more than anything in the world. I’m thankful for the late night laughs & early morning breakfasts we shared, & for her endless love for her grandchildren. We sure miss her.
Happy Mother’s Day.

I would love to honor my momma!
LeeAnn Hodgson.
My momma passed away just over 3yrs ago.
She came into my life when I was 12 yrs old. Took me from a life where I was set aside and I entered a home of love and acceptance. She taught me so much. She was a tough southern momma but, the best heart . She helped raise 6 daughters (she had to have enough love for that lol) and helped raise many of her grandchildren. My momma, always made sure all of us girls were loved and cared for. She never asked for much. But always gave everything she had.
