Sheila Elaine Whetzell Price age 66 of Meridianville, AL died Sunday, November 23, 2025 at UAB Medical Center. Funeral services are Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 5 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darren Rogers officiating. Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 PM on Tuesday and from 2 pm until service time on Wednesday.
Sheila was born October 11, 1959 in Fort Oglethorpe, GA to parents, William Franklin and Vivian Joyce Walker Whetzell. She was a 1977 graduate of NSM High School and had worked as a postal carrier in Meridianville.
Survivors include husband, Tim Price, children, Susan Stockburger(Chris), Heath Haggard(Ashley), Jared Haggard, Sheena Haggard, William Haggard, Jeremy Price, grandchildren, Camren Williams, Chance Stockburger(Megan), Joel Stockburger(Rachel), Addison Stockburger, Quinn Haggard, Kinley Haggard, Paisley Smith, Kylie Dunn, Karlie Cornett, Marlee Haggard, sister, Peggy Cornett, brother, Stacy Whetzell(Sandra), along with several nieces and nephews.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Frank Whetzell, mother, Joyce Whetzell Cloud, brother, Terry Whetzell and step-father, Noel Cloud.
