Sue Hunt, 83, of Trenton, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday evening, April 25, 2025 at her home.
She loved her Lord and her church, Kelly’s Ferry Church of God, enjoyed singing gospel music, was extremely devoted to her family and loved life. Mrs. Hunt was an excellent seamstress and homemaker, and loved her four-legged fur baby, “Fin.” She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Earl Hunt, her parents, Robert & Bessie Mull Bishop, and sisters, Robbie Avery & Mary Goff Gifford.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Rev. Mike Williams of Trenton, GA; grandson, Aaron Williams & his girlfriend Kayla Lunsford; sisters, Frances Chapman, Joyce Forester, Gloria Smith, & Phyllis Gill; several nieces & nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Hunt will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
