Willie Mae Howard Bishop, 86, of Bryant, AL, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Mrs. Bishop was retired from Bi-Lo, was an avid member of the NSM O.E.S. Chapter #544 and a dual member of the Bridgeport O.E.S. Chapter #181. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, William L. & Ada Ireene Gray Howard, husband, Billy G. Bishop, brothers, Jimmy, Allen, Charles & Ricky Howard, sister, Patsy Ledford, and grandson, Tony Wilson.
As a daughter, loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Mrs. Bishop is survived by her son, Billy Joe Bishop; brother, Wendell (Helen) Howard; sister, Teresa Michaels; grandchildren, Kim McNabb, Kristy (Kevin) Wilson, Kelly (Hans) Oehlschlaeger, Karrie (Justin) Harness, Kayla (Ethan) Smith, & Hunter (Paige) Perry; fourteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends are also left to cherish her memory.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Bishop will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bone officiating, and eulogy given by Brother David Marona.
