Franklin Delano “Frank” Winans, 85, of Rising Fawn, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at his home.
Frank was born on May 25, 1940 to the late Litha & Jason Winans of Philippi, West Virginia and was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Winans was retired from the Mueller Company in Chattanooga, TN, was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, and loved his Lord, his family, and the outdoors. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his three sisters and six brothers.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Glenda Parker Winans; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Kathy Winans.The family would like to thank Staci Brewster, Brandi Robinson, Crystal Holt and the staff of Hearth Hospice of Ringgold for their compassion and excellent care.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Friday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jim Hixon officiating. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA
